Edo pledges support for culture export, exchange
By Edo State Commissioner for Arts and Culture, Dr Uyi Makaka, has expressed the commitment of the Godwin Obaseki-led administration to support the promotion and export of the rich cultural heritage of the Edo people to the international communities.
Makaka stated this on Friday in Benin City, while playing host to representatives of Moses Iyoha Memorial Foundation, a Spanish delegation that visited the state to intimate the ministry of its intention and support towards its planned cultural festival slated to take place in Spain later in the year.
