Kogi Poly expels 313 students over poor academic performance
The withdrawal followed the consideration of the report of the Academic Board Central Result Verification Committee at the meeting of the Board held on 22nd June 2023 at the 200 Twin Lecture Theater, Main Campus, Lokoja.
A statement issued on Friday by the head, public relations and protocol unit, Omale Oredo stated that the breakdown of the withdrawal is from seventeen departments and twenty-eight programmes. Chaired by the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, the Board disclosed that the decision was part of the resolve to maintain high academic standards and breed worthy academic ambassadors.
