Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) Director-General Adeola Ajayi jokingly claimed responsibility for blocking Chief of Defence Staff Christopher Musa's Canadian visa application. Musa had narrated his disappointment at being denied a visa for an official event honoring veterans in Canada. Ajayi, while praising Musa's dedication and teamwork, humorously suggested that Musa had underestimated the DSS' capabilities.
Adeola Ajayi , the director-general of the Department of State Services , says Christopher Musa , the chief of defence staff , was denied a Canadian visa because he underestimated him.The CDS spoke at the maiden annual lecture of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja.
“As much as I like General Musa, he underrated me. I have spent 35 years in this job, but for political appointments, I should be on my way out by April,” Ajayi said.
