Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has restated the commitment of his administration to develop and harness the economic potential of the aquatic environment of the state.
He stated that his administration would do all that is within its power to harness the resources in the ocean for the benefit of the people. Governor Diri explained that his administration’s efforts to transform the state’s economy has led to the increase of the monthly grants to small business owners in all the 105 wards from N50 million monthly to N100 million.
He said: “We told you we will not play politics with development of our state. That is why as tough as it was, we decided to embark on the construction of the three senatorial roads. “So, from the presidential to the state assembly elections, please vote for PDP. You will not see Atiku or Ebikake on the ballot but you will see the umbrella. PDP will continue to bring development to Bayelsa State and Nigeria.”
