Portuguese defender, Diogo Dalot , has opened up on how he knew Cristiano Ronaldo was coming back to Manchester United . He also said that playing alongside the veteran forward, who he described as his hero, is the proudest moment of his career. Dalot and Ronaldo shared the pitch at Old Trafford for one and a half seasons between 2021 and 2022 which was when the Portuguese returned to United for his second spell.
Dalot, 25, said via Awaydays, 'Obviously, I spoke to him, and he told me after the national team duties that he was coming back and he was excited about it. 'I met him in the Euros, and it was the first time I met him, and coincidentally, he joined Manchester United two months later.
