The governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo has reaffirmed his confidence in the judiciary despite the recent attack at the venue of the Election Tribunal on Wednesday.
The gunmen who invaded the area went about shooting sporadically into the air while chanting 'give us back our mandate'. They were however, repelled by security operatives deployed to the location. The PDP governorship candidate also expressed gratitude to his supporters and the people of Edo State since the commencement of the proceedings of the tribunal disputing the September 2024 governorship poll in the state.
He promised that, he will end poverty in Edo state and eliminate any form of fear and intimidation by unlocking the potential of the state.
