reports that Wike had previously ordered a task force, “Operation Sweep,” to demolish Ruga and other communities within the nation’s capital in an effort to clear the city of perceived nuisances and criminal activities. Following the demolition, Wike had explained that the action was aimed at sanitizing and securing the FCT. Visiting the Ruga community, Wike said 'No amount of blackmail, intimidation or abuses will stop us.
