FCT: Wike demolishing communities to allocate lands to friends

Social critic, Martins Ortse aka VeryDarkMan, has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, of demolishing some areas and allocating the plots to his rich friends. VeryDarkMan made the claim following the demolitions in the Ruga area of the FCT.

Ruga, a community along the Airport Road, was demolished by the FCT taskforce, Operation Sweep. The demolition left thousands of residents in the community homeless. Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan reminded Wike of the security risk such demolition of communities poses to the capital city. Posting on his Instagram page, the social critic urged Wike to reallocate lands to homeless persons to curb insecurity.

He wrote: 'After what I saw during the early hours of today when I visited while they were sleepingI had to go over 1000 mosquito nets to keep the mosquitoes away and save them from getting sick of Malaria and also to help them sleep well at night. 'Dear Nyesom Wike, I heard you allegedly chased these thousands of people because you wanted to give your rich friends the land.
