Vigilante groups from Igbudu community of Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday staged a peaceful solidarity visit in support of the anti-cultism campaign of the State Police Command.
The Divisional Police Officer, “B Division”, Warri, CSP Ari Onana, warned criminal elements to steer clear of the division saying he was ready to fight with his last blood.
Members of the vigilante groups carried assorted placards with inscriptions such as “Cultism is evil, we’ll continue to partner the police to wipe it out of our society”; ” Insecurity: Agada vigilante in total support of the Police operations”; “Cultists are killers, we say no to cultism”; ,etc. Addressing the vigilante operatives, the newly deployed police officer who was on a familiarisation visit to the area insisted that criminal elements would no longer find Warri and its environments an easy haven to perpetrate heinous crimes.
He declared, “Please if you are a criminal in “B Division” kindly repent or leave because I have not come here to play. I am ready to fight with my last blood.
