Delta housewife petitions AGF, IGP over husband’s illegal detention, one year after - Punch Newspapers
One year after her husband, Mr Sunday Okoro, has been allegedly detained by the Nigeria Police, a Sapele-based housewife in Delta State, Mrs Rose Okoro has petitioned the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Usman, alleging unlawful detention of the husband since September, 2020.
According to the woman, her 14-years-old son was also arrested, handcuffed with the father and paraded while their phones were confiscated.
