Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state, is scheduled to declare open the 51st annual general meeting and congress of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria .In a statement on Friday, the association said
The AGM and conference will also witness the election of a new executive committee that will direct the affairs of the association for the next two years.Steve Babaeko, AAAN president, said the event would begin on July 18 with courtesy visits to Oba Adedotun Gbadebo Aremu 111, Alake of Egbaland and Oba Adedapo Tejuosho, the Osile of Oke-Ona.
“Discussants expected at the session are Mr. Obi Asika, Director-General, National Council for Arts and Culture; Mr. Femi Odugbemi, founder/CEO, Zuri35 Media; Ms. Chichi Nwoko, CEO and founder, WHAT Media; Mr. Olumide Balogun, Director, Google West Africa; and Mr. Olatunbosun Alake, Lagos State Commissioner for Innovation, Science and Technology,” he said.
Speaking further, Babaeko said the AGM provides the opportunity to look at the contributions of advertising to national development.
