Customs impounds veterinary drugs, tramadol worth N56m
Nigeria Customs Service says it has impounded 150 cartons of unregistered veterinary drugs and 379 packs of 225mg tramadol along the stretch of Kano-Kazaure Expressway, Kano.
He disclosed that the unregistered drugs were seized along with 816 bags of NPK 15:15:15 fertilizer, 100 kegs of vegetable oil, two trucks loaded with tiger nuts, dates, 676 bags of parboiled foreign rice and 60 bales of second-hand clothing. According to him, the bags of parboiled foreign rice intercepted along Kaduna-Zaria road were concealed inside firewood and in sacks that looked like branded charcoal bags.
