Eligible members of the Cross River State Football Association (CRSFA) are presently jostling for upcoming elections into the governing board of the
Saturday 20th May 2023 has been slated for the election., according to Chairman, CRSFA, Apostle Essien Ayi.
Ayi made the announcement in Calabar when he inaugurated the Electoral and Appeals Committees for the election.He said forms for the various elective positions will be on sale between the 5th & 14th of May 2023, while screening of aspirants is scheduled for the 15th of May 2023. According to him, the list of screened candidates will be published on 16th May while appeals and hearing of cases are slated for 18th May, before the final publication of the list of candidates on 19th May 2023.
The CRSFA Chairman charged the two committees to ensure they carry out their assignments in accordance with the statutes of the Nigeria Football Federation . Responding, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Vincent Egbe and the Chairman of the Appeals Committee, Paul Ebiala, assured they will carry out their responsibilities diligently.
