One Hundred and Fifty-six persons have been convicted for allegedly violating the curfew order imposed by the Niger State Government to check the transmission of COVID-19 in the state. Out of the figure, fifteen other persons were discharged on the grounds of ill-health and delivery of essential services. The suspects were arrested by security agents
One Hundred and Fifty-six persons have been convicted for allegedly violating the curfew order imposed by the Niger State Government to check the transmission of COVID-19 in the state.
The state counsel, Barr. Jibrin Kudu Alfa while arraigning the suspects before the Mobile Court said they were charged under the Niger State COVID-19 Executive Order 2020.
