Benue governor, Ortom confirms new COVID-19 case in state
Addressing a press conference yesterday in Makurdi, the state capital, Governor Samuel Ortom said the patient is a returnee from Kano.
The governor disclosed that the victim, Edward Manger, works with the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency .The governor said the victim has been taken to the Federal Medical Centre, for treatment.Benue State now has two COVID-19 cases, following Ortom’s confirmation. The first case was a female returnee from the United Kingdom, UK, who is currently at the National Hospital Abuja.
