COVID-19: Kwara records second casualty, discharges 18 patients
Kwara State government has recorded the second COVID-19 death since the breakout of the virus in the state.A statement by the state technical committee’s spokesman, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Wednesday in Ilorin, said the female deceased had “serious underlying medical conditions.”
“We regret to announce that the patient did not make it despite the efforts of the medical personnel to save her. “Our heartfelt condolences go the family. We stand by them at this trying time, and restate the need for everyone to keep safe by adhering to all COVID-19 safety protocols,” the statement added.
