KUALA LUMPUR: Police will call up Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng to help an investigation into a claim that three policemen had extorted from two individuals at a traffic light at Jalan Besar Kampung Melayu in Kepong last Wednesday. Sentul district police chief Beh Eng Lai said Lim had made the claim at a press conference yesterday and an investigation was started after the news was shared on WhatsApp.“The MP and the two individuals involved will be called up to help in the investigation.

“Police view the allegation seriously and will not hesitate to act against the three policemen if misconduct is proven,” he said in a statement last night.
