PETALING JAYA: The police have debunked a viral message urging the public to report"anti-vaccine instigators".

Inspector-General of Police corporate communications secretariat Supt Skandaguru Anandan said Bukit Aman had detected messages titled"sila laporkan penghasut antivaksin " attributed to Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani. The message also urges people to lodge reports via the e-Reporting portal. The police confirm that these messages are false.

"The e-Reporting portal referred to in those messages is a pilot project in selected locations," he said in a statement on Sunday .
