The Coalition for True Governance has demanded the impeachment of Imo Governor, Hope Uzodinma over the recurring killings in the state.
A statement on Tuesday by the Convener, Charles Odenigbo, charged members of Imo House of Assembly to commence impeachment proceedings against the governor. Odenigbo said it is unacceptable that innocent lives are lost on a regular basis, while workers are being forced to take to the streets to demand better pay and working conditions.
The group regrets Imo is in the news most times due to the disturbing trend of violent crimes, including kidnappings and murders.
