The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has described an attack on worshippers in Ogun State as an assault on religious freedom in Nigeria. CAN called on the various security agencies to increase vigilance in places of worship. SaharaReporters had reported that a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), in Abule-Ori, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State was killed by suspected terrorists. It was learnt that the gunmen also kidnapped seven worshippers after invading the church on Saturday.
