The Bauchi State government has said that it has vaccinated 589, 432 people against cholera in the state.
He said that the state received 1.5 million doses of the cholera vaccine explaining that the vaccination is being done in three local government areas – Bauchi, Toro and Dass – which have the highest records of cases. Mohammed said, “Today is the fifth and the last day but we are not yet finished, we are behind schedule. The cholera outbreak has so far spread to 19 local government areas in Bauchi State, only Bogoro LGA has no cholera outbreak in the state.
