The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has given teams, whose home grounds were not certified fit for the 2024/25 inter-club competitions, to choose alternative venues for their matches or risk being given a “home venue” by the body.

So, the Nigerian clubs have until July 20 to decide whether they will play in Uyo or allow CAF to choose a venue for them. CAF said that the clubs have from July 1 to 20 to complete the registration of their players, while the second registration window will open on July 21, and end on August 31, 2024.
