The task force officials, including a driver and other team members, created a scene after arresting an offender.
Security operatives have arrested some illegal task force officials during the protest organised by the Nigerian Labour Congress in solidarity with the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities in Lagos on Tuesday.
It was learnt that the scene created by the task force caused some union members to engage in heated arguments with the illegal task force team. The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, on Sunday promised to embark on a two-day nationwide protest in solidarity with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and other affiliate unions over the lingering industrial action in public universities in Nigeria.
