At the moment, seven-year-old Farayola Bamidele cuts a pathetic figure that grieves her parents. Once a bubbly kid, the Primary 2 pupil is down with a brain cyst which has affected her ability to walk.

She said the girl was later taken to a general hospital when there was no improvement, stating that a brain scan revealed a massive growth causing a compression of the brain. The mother said the family had been told that Farayola’s treatment would gulp huge amounts and called on well-meaning Nigerians for financial support.
