Boko Haram: Nigerian Army reacts to report of planned ‘deadly attack’ on Maiduguri
The Nigerian Army has reacted to reports that Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, is under attack.
The Army warned Nigerians to, however, be careful and vigilant of suspicious presence or movements of persons especially at markets, mosques, churches etc. “Headquarters Theatre Command, Operation Lafiya Dole, assures the public that necessary measures have been put in place to checkmate the purported evil plans of the criminals.
“Consequently, members of the public are urged to disregard the rumor of ‘deadly attacks’ on Maiduguri and environs.
