No fewer than 20 persons have reportedly died in a fatal accident that happened on Sunday in the Badagry area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. It was gathered that the deceased passengers had rented the bus from the Yaba area of Lagos to attend a group party in the Republic of Benin, Channels reports.

He said, “What happened is that the driver of the commercial bus lost control when he saw a truck ahead of him while trying to overtake the tipper truck loaded with sand.“The bus crashed into the truck killing the entire 20 people onboard the bus including the 18 passengers alongside the commercial bus driver and his motor boy.”Adebayo said the remains of the victims had been deposited at the Badagry General Hospital morgue.SaharaReporters.
