The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced that Lagos recorded 183 cases of coronavirus on Thursday May 7. It is the highest single-day figure reported in the nation's commercial hub since the index case. Kano State had 55 and Jigawa State 44. A total of 381 across the country were confirmed. NCDC tweeted:
