‘Ask Obaseki to account for money received’
The Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State, Col. David Imuse , has urged the people to ask Governor Godwin Obaseki how much allocation he received from theý Federation Account in almost four years and how he spent the funds.
He spoke in Benin while inaugurating APC’s Campaign Council for the September 19 governorship election. Imuse said the party’s governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, would emerge victorious at the polls.The campaign council has as Director General, Maj.-Gen. Cecil Esekhaigbe rtd.), while a former deputy governor, Lucky Imasuen, is the deputy director general, with an ex-deputy chief whip of the House of Representatives, Pally Iriase, as the secretary.The director general said: ”Our mission is very clear and definitive, to reclaim the Government House in Benin.
“There is going to be paradigm shift in this campaign. We are not going to base our issues on insults and provocative words, because when they go low, we are going to go very high.”
