All along, in schools and at work, was there anything that indicated to you that you would ascend the throne? People knew me as a prince, despite all my efforts to hide that identity. Some people had the premonition that I was going to be a monarch. The man that exhibited the highest premonition about that was the late Mr Ayo Apeloko, a popular businessman. Whenever he saw me those days, he would always pay obeisance, ‘Kabiyesi oo’. He would even tell me that he might not be alive when I would become the king and that he would have to pay his own respect then that he was still alive.
