Former Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese is “skin deep” and “clearly not up for the job” as he faces the press every day during his campaign.
The Sunday Telegraph’s National Political Editor James Campbell said Mr Albanese hasn’t had the chance to front the Canberra Press Gallery very often and it’s the “first time he’s had the ‘A-team’ following him day in, day out”.
“He really isn’t match fit and that, incidentally, is something that came as a real shock to a lot of Labor MPs,” Mr Campbell said.
