Ondo State Government has urged the public to disregard the rumours circulating about the alleged death of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
In the last 48 hours, rumour of the demise of the governor had taken over the social media space, with the situation creating apprehension in the state. The commissioner also noted that the government had been receiving numerous calls and messages regarding the governor’s health, and had initially chosen to ignore the false information until it became apparent that certain individuals were attempting to use it for political gain.
