Barely one week after some gunmen attacked traders returning from a market in the Heipang community, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area

Jat said, “Fulani herdmen attacked some women of kinat community coming from the market yesterday evening. They killed two people and two other persons also sustained injuries.

“Those who were injured are currently receiving treatment in the hospital . But the question is what exactly did this people want that they are attacking even traders who were returning from the market ? It is by the Grace of God that some of us escaped the attack. The Media officer for the Military Taskforce in charge of maintaining peace in the state, Captain Oya James could not be reached to speak on the incident when contacted by our correspondent as his phone line was switched off.

Also, efforts to speak with Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Alabo Alfred on the incident proved abortive as he phone rang out when contacted.All rights reserved.
