Again, 9 Die, 5 Injured In Bauchi Fatal Crashes News
Confirming the incidents, the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps in the State, Yusuf Abdullahi, said the first crash occurred on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at about 0625hrs along the ever-busy Jos-Bauchi Road.
He said the accident involved a Toyota Hiace with a registration number KGG 26 LG and a Peugeot Boxer J5 but without a registration number, both used for commercial purposes. “5 male adults were involved in the crash who all died as they were burnt beyond recognition due to the fire that engulfed the vehicles following a tyre burst as well as loss of control .
“The burnt corpses and the vehicles were handed over to NPF Toro Division as reported by DRC CS Kangtun, OC, Zebra for the Unit Commander,” he stated. Abdullahi further explained that the Dass Station Office of FRSC also reported the death of four persons and various degrees of injuries to five other persons in another fatal road crash.
