Twenty-four lives were lost in an auto crash that occurred on Monday night in the Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State.
The lone crash involved a truck which was said to be conveying about 87 passengers to Lagos from Zaria, Kaduna State.
According to Tsukwan, the crash occurred in Etsu Woro village along Bida-Mokwa Road at about 10.10pm. The FRSC boss added that apart from the deceased, 45 others were injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
