Presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Kola Abiola, has promised that his administration will end Nigerians’ suffering, which the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) governments subjected them to since the country returned to democratic rule in 1999.
Speaking during the presidential rally at Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State, yesterday, the candidate said the people knew his family background and the pedigree of his late parents.
His words: “So, if I promise I would bring relief to you through good governance, you can as well hold me responsible for my words.”e noted that the presidential candidates of APC and PDP, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar respectively, were together during the 1993 presidential election, and that they had participated in governments at various levels.
