Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the house of representatives, has asked his colleagues to rise above partisan interest to deliver good governance to Nigerians.

“Dear colleagues, I want to believe that during our recess, we had the opportunity to interact with our constituents, to hear their concerns, and to witness first-hand the challenges they face in their daily lives,” he said. “As the executive comes with policies and programmes to alleviate the impact of the subsidy removal, we must be ready to respond with the necessary legislative actions in this regard.”
