The most widely read newspaper in Nigeria
I have been following your articles for some time now. But before then, I have been devastated about the situation of my life. However, the day I came across your post I was a little bit encouraged and I felt I should share my story with you to seek counsel because I have gone too far to let go of it. Please note: I have started thinking keeping one’s virginity is now a sin before I came across your articles. I acknowledge your good works. Thank you ma.
And now I’m beginning to wonder if I’m on the right track because it’s getting tougher. How can I be proud of keeping my virginity when the children that asked me years back who “virginity eep” when I advise them are married? Friends that told me years back, “dey there na…” have concluded childbearing in their marriages! Now, I’m not getting younger and it’s getting tougher. The only two relationships I have attempted failed not because I was a bad person but because I said no to sex.
What prompted me to write you is that sometime last week, a friend who I have not spoken with for a very long time called me to mock me by asking “how far?” and I replied “I’m good” and she said “what is good about all this, we told you but you didn’t listen, I’d just advise you to look for a man that will impregnate you and move on.
