40 COVID-19 patients discharged in Oyo as 61 test positive
The State Governor, Seyi Makinde, confirmed the development on Monday.
Makinde also said the State recorded 61 new cases of the infection, adding that the state so far, has 2167 confirmed cases of the infection. He tweeted, “40 confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 1120.“The cases are from Iseyin , Lagelu , Ibadan SW , Ogbomosho N , Ibadan N , Oyo E , Oluyole , Egbeda , Ibarapa Central , Ibadan NW , Ibadan NE , Ido , Ibadan SE , Ona Ara , Ogbomosho S and Ogo Oluwa Local Government Areas.
