Ladi Adebutu, a governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State on Monday knocked the people of South-West, saying another northerner ought to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. Adebutu made this known on Monday, while speaking during a campaign to garner support ahead of the 2023 polls in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. He explained that the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and interim Head of State Ernest Shonekan from the South-West geopolitical zone have been Nigerian leaders at separate times.
