The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that 427 lawyers would be helping the commission to prosecute 215 people who committed infractions during the 2023 general elections. INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu who disclosed this on Tuesday during a meeting with the state Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) to review the general elections, said that it had received 215 case files from the Nigerian police in respect of the electoral infractions.
