Professor Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Tuesday met with all the Resident Electoral Commissioners at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja. The meeting was said to have been conveyed to review its activities in the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly polls held nationwide. The deliberation would also centre on preparations for the off-season governorship Elections in Kogi and Imo in November this year. The meeting is the first of such open for coverage since the 2023 General Elections were concluded.
