The Kaduna State government has developed a 2023 draft budget of N291,932,185,576.34 for continuous growth and development.
Education and health has 40 percent of the total sum of N65.7 billion representing about 25 percent and N23.4 billion representing about 15 percent in the next year’s budget, respectively. According to her, “The 2023 draft Budget was prepared on the expectation that the base effects would decline as economic activities normalise in the non-oil sector, meaning that the economy will grow at a much faster pace during the year in view.”
She added that governor Nasir El-Rufai in a message to the participants at the town hall meeting said as his administration winds down in a few months, all the ongoing projects would be completed.
