He further explained that upon receipt of the information, the Command immediately mobilized a nearby crack squad to advance to the location to thwart their nefarious mission. The statement stated that an immediate search of the vicinity led to the recovery of an AK49 rifle loaded with 24 rounds of live ammunition and one bandit’s operational motorcycle.
It said that the Commissioner of Police has appreciated the sacrifice officers and men of the Command continue to make daily to restore public order and normalcy in our state.
