The manager of the Port, Chief Festus Ikechi Olumati, disclosed this when he led a management team to pay a courtesy call on Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State.
He solicited closer cooperation from the state government to enable the port to maintain active economic activities. Otu charged the management of the port to take advantage of the existing synergy between the state government, the Navy, and other security agencies to draw more traffic to the facility.
