Andrew Banigo, an indigene of Bonny LGA of Rivers state, has been appointed as the community manager for Global Shapers in Nigeria.
Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum , is a network of young changemakers dedicated to addressing global challenges and creating meaningful impact within their communities.
In a letter by Natalie Pierce, head of the Global Shapers community, it was stated that Banigo’s leadership position will begin on July 1, 2023 and end on June 30 2024, with the possibility of an extension.He will spearhead initiatives that will foster collaboration, drive innovation, and cultivate leadership skills among 17 hubs and community members in the Nigerian region.
