The Nation Newspaper 153 make First Class as LASU holds 27th convocation

Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University , Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello yesterday said 153 students would be graduating with First Class during the institution’s 27th convocation.

She added: “Of the 2,164 post-graduate graduating students, there are 375 post-graduate diplomas, 962 academic masters, 672 professional masters, 89 Doctor of Philosophy and 66 professional doctoral degrees.” According to her, the enabling environment has enhanced the achievements of many of them, including some alumni.

The vice chancellor said: “The convocation lecture will be chaired by Emeritus Prof. Peter Okebukola, who was a distinguished Professor of Science and Computer Education until retirement from our university.
