No fewer than 123 people have died of Cholera in Jigawa and Sokoto states even as the disease rages.

The Jigawa figures were disclosed yesterday in Dutse, the state capital by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr Salisu Mu’azu who said the cases were recorded in 19 of the 27 local government areas in the state.In Sokoto, the state’s commissioner for health, Ali Inname, who briefed journalists, noted that the infection had spread to 13 of the state’s 23 local government areas.
