At least 10 passengers, including three children, lost their lives in an early hours fatal accident on Wednesday, involving a bus and stationary truck at Abule-Osun, inward Iyana-Iba, along Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Lagos.

Fortunately, three passengers who survived the fatal crash are currently receiving treatment in the hospital where they were rushed to.

Permanent Secretary, of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Femí Oke-Osanyitolu, attributed the crash to excessive speeding. “Unfortunately,10 passengers lost their lives to the unfortunate incident, while three were critically injured.The dead passengers include; three male adults, four female adults, two female children and one male child.

Other emergency responders at the scene of the crash include: Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, officials of the Nigerian Police and the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU.
