The Owa-Obokun, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, has passed away at the age of 86.The monarch's demise was confirmed by the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Yinka Fasuyi, in a statement in Osogbo, the Oyo state capital.Prior to the official announcement, there had been growing concern over the health of Oba Aromolaran, who had been indisposed for some time.In a heartfelt tribute, Chief Fasuyi described the late monarch's passing as the end of an era.
