The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has released a list of over 9,500 debtors for land titles, including former Nigerian leaders like Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida and Samuel Ortom, with a deadline of two weeks to settle their debts.
The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA , has released a list of individuals and entities alleged to be in debt for their certificates of occupancy in the Federal Capital Territory . The list includes 9,532 defaulters, among whom is former Nigerian military leader Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida , who reportedly owes N152 million for a plot of land in Asokoro.
Other notable figures listed are former Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom and former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, now a senator. The FCTA has given these defaulters two weeks from November 26 to settle their debts, warning of potential revocation of titles if payments are not made
